There are a number of uses derived from the hemp plant when it’s processed. The seeds and flowers can produce hemp oil and animal feed and the stalks can be processed into fiber uses.
This video shows the collection of both the seed/flower for feed, while the stalks are swathed for baling to produce fiber products once the swath has dried.
The seed can be collected with a conventional combine as well as with this Class Xerion harvester collecting the top portion of the plants, while the Claas 600 ORBIS lays the remainder of the plant into a swath to be baled later.
A following video will show the baling and wrapping of the seeds/flowers/leaves being collected.
